I am a Literacy Specialist and English Language Arts teaching in Buffalo, New York. My pedagogical emphasis is on the merger of New Literacies with the dialogic classroom and how that merger creates the sociocultural framework necessary for learning in today's classroom and beyond.

Wisdom Video Quilt (English 11 R)

This video was produced during my student teaching placement at Hamburg High School in Buffalo, New York. The students also created illustrations of their wisdom quotations, poetry responses, and "This I Believe" essays as part of their portfolio assessments.
